I live for the Rally every year but I have to miss the best part. Every year I have to attend the SC State Disabled American Veterans Conference in Columbia May 14-17. It always falls on the last part of the Rally. Being the Jr. Vice Commander and a claims writer for Veterans of the Myrtle Beach Chapter I have no choice. Veterans come first so I make the most of the early part of the Rally so you guys raise hell for me, OK!

Thanks FreeBird! It's guys like your dad that made it possible for me to carry on to fight for our country's freedom and now I'm just trying help others that have been left out get what they deserve. Funny, I almost lost my right knee to a rocket attack in Vietnam Oct. 5, 1969 and spent 2 weeks in the hospital over there. They gave me a Bronze Star & Army Commendation Medal but forgot my Purple Heart. I hear that Henry Brown is going to have a big deal to present it to me 40 years late.
Huggy, Thank You very much! You sound as if you may be a Vet yourself and if so thank you for your service. I will be sure to check that website.
Captahab, We have a mutual friend (Gary R.). I'm pretty sure you did but I'll take another. I'm sure that we will hook up soon both knowing Gary after he recovers from his surgery. Any friend of Gary is a friend of mine!
