Now I know that hindsight is 20/20, but I was one of the ones that thought the best way to "fight" Myrtle Beach was to have as many bikers as possible ride through the town (with helmets) every single day, instead of riding around it. To show them they couldn't kick us out, etc... And I think we should have ONLY spent our money at 100% biker places.
But now that it is all over, and we sort of knew they would lose this helmet ordinance, what would have been BETTER was to have hundreds of bikers a day ride through without helmets, let them write literally thousands upon thousands of tickets over the two years and now take all those tickets and just drop them on Rhodes doorstep. THAT would have been awesome!!

bikergal, I whole heartedly agree. Instead of staying out of the City we should have ridden through at every opportunity. If we don't stick together and stop letting MB dictate to us where we can ride then we lose! They are banking on the biking community to stay away. I heard some ole' bittie say this myself. They are worried sick that the bikers will return. I say GOOD, let them worry.

I now go out of my way to ride through the City. 25 MPH is the speed I go. Cheezin the whole way. Using their roads and leaving a little exhaust..... ;D ;D
