A post in one of the comments about a news story on the Sun News said the the "Helmets Required" signs have been quietly taken down at the entrances to Myrtle Beach. Any truth to this? Anyone know anything?

If that is true it is about to all come down as suggested. I will see if the one on 501 is up later today and report back.

Not only are they all apparently still up - we actually GAINED a new one in the last week. This photo was taken on Hard Rock Boulevard (soon to be renamed) just before the new Fantasy Harbor Bridge, eastbound: The actual city limits sign is located as soon as you complete going over the bridge eastbound, at the intersection of the Rt 17 Bypass sounthbound exit/entrance lanes:

Anyone hear part of Council meet saying they changed helmet ord so that you can sit in driveway or on your property and not get ticket have to enter upon city roads , Changed because supposely atty who's friends with Cry baby Wallace complained ...
