I was the first to have a confrontation with a security guard. Myself and a truckload of others pulled into the lot at about 10:35 a.m.. As I opened the back and began to remove the protest signs the guard told me that I could not have them on the premises and the shirt I was wearing was not allowed. I was told this was a "private event" and that I was not invited. When I explained that Mayhem invited everyone the guard said "Yes, but not you folks". Following a ten minute, sometimes heated, confrontation, I decided to move my truck across the street and avoid arrest. We picketed the entire scheduled time of the event and were never approached by the actual Police. At this point we can only rely on the Media to give us a fair shake and actually air and publish some of the interviews they did. Will they is yet to be seen... Stay tuned.... "we can only rely on the Media to give us a fair shake"...Per the ticker during WMBF 4, 5, & 6 pm news, they are not giving us a fair shake...it states that this picnic became "ugly" after the bikers showed up. I would like to know when and where things got "ugly"! Was there the entire time and everything was done in a peaceful manner. ;D You better get use to the fact that all the media in Myrtle Beach favors the Mayor & City Council, "Take May Back" and anything negative towards the Bikers and lie to to bring them to the top and smell like roses. They haven't been fair to the Bikers at all and after the November election is over and Rhodes and 3 City Council are sent packing what are they going to report then? Are they finally going to be the Bikers buddies, I doubt it because we won't forget what they have done to us. We're going to be watching what BOOST and HELP does, are they with us or not that is the question! This is probably one of the biggest Biker fiasco's in history in a two bit town with with a few lousy politicians and a hand full of followers that are getting away with murder!

Well , Well , The spin Doctors are busy. A story stating the Bikers or supporters weren't welcome has already been removed from online. Then 700 plates were said to be served. Just too funny. Truth is there were about 100 people outside who were denied entry and about 150 who went in. Of those who went in there were homeless and Pro Rally people who met their dress standards. Which were NO HELP shirts , No BOOST shirts , No stickers from either group , among other ones. I would say there were 15 or so homeless and about 30 supporters that got in. Bikers were not allowed in the parking lot but many of us myself included thought they would do this and drove cars and stayed the whole time. Even the Mayor was double parked and when people outside called the police to have his car removed Tom Rice went running out to move his highnesses car. Suffice to say the parking lot was a cluster. For about 2 hours during lunch time people in cars would be driving by honking horns in support of the protesters and making other gestures that showed support. It was a steady flow of people. All kinds of people were sporting custom made protest signs including one lady of vintage who was just the best. She was sportin a Not A Dime In 09 protest sign. She will soon make the front page of ibiker. Swat team commandos were hired to keep those people out but at the end of the day they were taking pictures with us. Soon to be put up on the site. There are some video on Un News that one should copy before it is taken down as well showing City Residents with and invitation showing no such dress code being denied entry. They spoke their case and left. I saw no one say anything out of line and there were many taking video and pictures. We should be getting them up soon. All in All the Mayors looked like the pompous person he is , we had time to meet many of the tourists and other locals who were curious about what was going on, parking was at a premium and there was a lot of news there. What they print is what their principals instruct them to do. This is what happened today at the train depot. Interesting to note more and more non bikers are joining the movement. At this point the bikers are outnumbered by the non bikers dedicated to the preservation of FREEDOM and the REMOVAL of the current Mayor and City Council. And that folks is what they didn't tell you.

You might want to go here www.wciv.com/news/stories/0609/630741.htmland read the 2nd story on the web on how bikers were not allowed at the BBQ before it gets removed also...but I am sure both stories will continue to float around somewhere.

Let me clear one thing up, the Train Depot has 12 tables and 120 chairs and the inside is crowded when fill to capacity. Besides, I don't think there were a hundred cars there and allot of them belonged to the protesters!

If I were a business owner, I would be mad, mad, and even madder about that trillion dollars comment Rice, so stupidly made.
As far as him mentioning crime during the rally, will you locals PLEASE do 2 things for me? First tell him to make the local crooks stop stealing our bikes during bike week and there wouldn't be any crime that week. 2nd PLEASE, buy him a script to the Sun News so he can read the stories about tourists there NOW are being robbed daily at gunpoint sheesh. It would take too long to tell all the crimes I have read about being committed just this week alone. Tourists being held up at gunpoint, businesses robbed. plus others being flashed by the flasher again. Oh wait...he might know about that one already. grrr

I was driving to Sumter this afternoon in the wifes car and she listens to this 105.9 FM (artery hardening station) and a "Take May Back" commercial came on and the theme was Thanking the Mayor and City Council from ALL MYRTLE BEACH RESIDENTS. Isn't that illegal when thousands of City residents would rather shoot the suckers than let them serve another day? And they said ALL RESIDENTS at least 4-5 times through out this commercial.
