Breaking News from Today..... www.thesunnews.com/news/breaking_news/story/907841.htmlMaybe BOOST and this group can work together, afterall it's all for the same cause. I think a lot of residents might not think they can be a part of BOOST if they don't own a business. (just my opinion)

Went to the HELP meeting and you had a hard time getting inside Revolutions. There was electricity in the air. Man you could just feel it. The beginning of a class 5 tornado heading straight for MB Proper. Words like clean sweep, all must go, and the hundreds of millions of dollars lost were soup de jour. It was an amazingly different group of people. The sentiment to get rid of Rhodes and company crossed all lines. Didn't matter who you were or what you do. BOOST and HELP seem to be on the SAME PAGE with different agenda's but like goals. I am excited to see grass root politics in its greatest and purists form. The Mayors actions with approval from the City Council and City Attorney have devastated MB in what was a cash cow before their actions. I guess 500,000 tourists telling everyone plus the ones in the road block trying to get to MB and the numbers just keep growing of unsatisfied customers who will not return and will spend No Dimes In 09 was not considered. The locals are Absolutely in a Not A Dime In 09 mood. One can only ponder as to why there still 1 year later is no clear plan to replace this lost income. What is really devastating is the bad publicity because of the Mayors media campaign. I have heard that alone to be in the hundreds of millions. I guess the real answer is the business owners at this meeting saying 70% off. For anyone who had as much as a Lemonade stand those numbers are staggering. This is the accomplishment of Mayor Rhodes .

I think you can belong to either of these groups and you can I believe be from out of town as well. This would be a great way to support us down here if you are from out of town. You don't have to own a business just believe in the cause of FREEDOM. Tell em ibiker sent you.

I myself do not live in MB, I'm about 2 hours away. However my daughter and son-in-law live in city limits and both work there. Where should I send them to register to vote, they live close to market commons? I come to visit them about twice a month and have been careful not to spend any money in MB. I was there for bike week (and will be back for the fall rally) and have to admit, I did miss eating at some of my old spots. On the bright side I did find a few new places that I really enjoyed. Any ideas on what it cost a business to belong to the chamber? Here in my small town its like $800. If 300 or so business owner were to drop out at the same time it might sting at little for the chamber.

rode That thing cracked me up. Thats what I'm talking about. Thats the money they could be making. Worst part is everybody is talking about the new places they found. My guess is that these people are not going to be quick to stop visiting our new places. Bikers are a very loyal bunch.
