Looks like Club Kryptonite has fallen victim of the "wonderful" economic state of Myrtle Beach. Seems B&C managed to suck the life out of them to the point of no return . Still having trouble breathing in the city though with all of those tourists wandering around....

The sunnews has gotten it wrong once again. Club K isn't shutting down, it's moving to the old Bullwinkles location.
Did anybody else watch the news tonight? They had a story about the city spending $25 million on the softball fields at the old air force base.

The owners will not give a "yes" answer on that move.

Dropping like flies, not only in city but all over the COUNTY. Pink Pony has closed in Garden City & there will others to die. See how this has spread beyond the city limits.

Bullwinkles is on 29th ave N. Next to Bellamy Law Firm. I believe that is one of the donut holes and it is county.

That had nothing to do with Johnnies on the corner however as they are another casualty

I thought the old Bullwinkles was located inside the city limits. Below is a link of a city map that shows the "holes". I recommend locating the intersection of 29th Ave North and Robert Grissom. Next enlarge the map to 75%. Once you do that, the "holes" should stand out as white blocks surrounded by a red boundary. www.cityofmyrtlebeach.com/PDF%20Forms/City%20Limits%20Map.pdf

Johnies has been closed.I've lived in this area for years & nothing has made for very long where Johnies was.My son & I stopped in at Murphy's Monday night it was so dead they might as well close it too. Pink Pony was quoted in paper closed because of no business. We all know these folk counted on the spring rally & summer tourist season to get thru winter & when they were robbed of that the writing was on the wall.More to close before New Year.
