Broadway at the Beach is still inside the city limits. No need for vendors there.

Sounds like MB City may be trying to do some fence mending without admitting any wrong doing...
I say F U M B and continue the BOYCOTT an long as these thingyWADS are in power...
I will continue to come to the Spring and Fall (GRAND STRAND RALLIES) but our group will not enter MB City Limits...

if i were a vendor I wouldn't even consider setting up inside city until after a change of leadership. If everyone in fall continues to boycott it will be a wasted effort. My boycott is still on and hope everyone elses is.

MB is trying to make up some $$ on the fall rally.. the ordinances said no vendors during may so now they are going to back pedal and say they are OK during the fall rally and try to make up for lost ground.... "SEE we are biker friendly" (just not in may).....

Mark Kruea told me, to my face, at the Mayor's "State of the City" event this past spring, that "The city has no problem with the Fall Harley rallies". That is an EXACT QUOTE. My reply to Mark was: "Well of course - the FALL rally isn't followed by an Atlantic Beach BikeFest. Mark's reaction was a shrug of his shoulders - and an up-and-down nod of agreement. So - when that personal exchange is with the OFFICIAL Public Information Officer of the City of Myrtle Beach - what does THAT tell everyone?

Agreed. I hope that the Vendors recognize this as well, and stay clear of City Limits.
On a similar note, I was talking to the guy at Ultimate Seats in Destination Daytona (He has those seats mounted on blocks to try). He says he will not go back next spring, and he has heard that many others won't either. He thought I was nuts when he saw my "Ride Around MB" shirt, which opened the discussion.

It is my suggestion that we no longer refer to any Rally as anything MB. All shirts , all references, everything should say THE GRAND STRAND RALLY. We should De-Brand MB. So all please come to the New and Improved Fall Grand Strand Rally Sept 30th to Oct 4th. Not A Dime In 09 ;D
