We need to start BAMB. Bikers Against Myrtle Beach. I hope they are Incorporated as if not we can sue and take their possessions. It is time for the lawsuits against these groups.

This new cry baby is a retired state trooper, but retired from where? Is he another one of the blue hairs from up north that wants to change things?

I agree that bikers need to come together. Not as business owners, employees or venders TAX PAYING RESIDENTS that have been looked down on long enough. Anyone that lives on the south end should contact good ole Howard & let him know that this is wrong. We have rights too & enough is enough. If Paul Price has a right to go to bed & not hear the beautiful roar of a bike then I have the same right to hear that beautiful roar. Our rights are being violated. Have a great day!

We just need to be vigilant as the other side is

From the article: "...There’s little doubt where John Rhodes stands on the issues. Unabashedly upfront, the Myrtle Beach mayor of 3 1/2 years means what he says and says what he means..." A TOTAL LIE! Were any of the rest of you at the City of Myrtle Beach candidates' appearance at an ABATE meeting held at the MB Thorney's just before the election that put Rhodes in office?
I know Outhouse and Tweety were there; Chuck Martino sat on my right, and Outie/Tweety were immediately on Chuck's other side. Mark McBride and his lovely wife were standing behind us; this was in the middle of the McBride "nudge a biker urge" controversy. When John Rhodes SPOKE before us as a candidate for mayor, he made a statement of exact or close-to-it wording that declared:
"I can assure all of you - as long as I am Mayor, there will ALWAYS BE Harley Davidson Rallies in Myrtle Beach!" He SAID IT! And EVERYONE in that room HEARD IT! But - that was just BEFORE he became mayor, and then was corrupted by powerful wealthy elitists who control him like puppeteers with their prized and compliant little marionnette. "...means what he says and says what he means..." = BULL$HIT!

That's right - I now remember Dynadaddy being at the Thornys meeting/presentation, though I didn't get a chance to speak with him that day. Were you with him too? I really can't recall, and believe I would remember if you had been with him. I did recall Jim and Tina Horton being at the Thorny's event (I just don't know that they're on this forum - that's why I didn't mention them). In fact, I ran into Tina as soon as I arrived (early; just got off work, changed, and went straight there) and walked inside - and we talked for about 10 minutes before Jim came looking for her and joined us in conversation for a while longer.

Dynadaddy hates the fact he was even in the same room with Rhodes.

Dynadaddy is right on about being in the same room with Rhodes. When Rhodes made that statement at the ABATE meeting, I believed him, no reason not to but I`ll not be foolish to believe another politician again.
