In the morning meeting the City Council did its demonstration on the noise ordinances. A Fire Truck and a Dump Truck measured over 98 Decibels. A Police Motorcycle measured around 93.6 and a bike with straight pipes measured around 98.6. As we have stated all along even blenders will be outlawed under the present noise ordinances. What the City will do now is any body's guess. In the afternoon session the Helmet Law was removed from the rest of the ordinances. Fines are still $100.00 but there was talk of lowering the fines to $25.oo. Again trying to follow this is like watching a rubber ball.

It sounds like they are starting to back pedal! Could the thought of the lawsuits and the decline in people NOT spending money in the city sinking in? I hope so! I posted on myrtlebeach online that THEY drew the line in the sand, not us! Now let them pay the price! We will spend our money elsewhere
Ride safe and keep the rubber side down 07 FLHTC rider Keith and Carol
oh yeah, have a wonderful and safe thanksgiving to all!
