Dear Mr. Huggins, I am fully aware that this means absolutely nothing to you because the viewers along the Grand Strand have so few choices for their news and are bound by coverage that you see fit to produce. However, I'm perplexed at how you can allow your news staff to take fact and twist it into fiction within a very short period of time? (Obviously it depends heavily on which politician or high-ranking businessman within the community pressures your decision first) I refer to the story regarding the little get-together at the train station today. Earlier in the day your staff eagerly reported that over 100 protesters joined forces to show their displeasure for the hardship that the Mayor and his cohorts have caused the working class citizens of Myrtle Beach and Horry County. In the final newscast of the evening, "Princess Floyd" made sure to comment about how Tom Rice counted merely 21 motorcycles in the adjacent lot that showed up to protest. Not only were those comments on the number of protesters in attendance false and misleading, they gave the average viewer the impression that all is sweet and rosy in Myrtle Beach. I'm sorry sir, that's just not true. I have trouble understanding why you allow your staff to deviate from fact? Is this a normal course of action? I'm fully aware that you will not find the time to address my concerns but at least I'll have an archive to look back on in disgust as I'm surfing for another source for information. Sincerely,
I could no longer stand back and listen to the lies! Of course, no response (yet?)

Sincerely, I could no longer stand back and listen to the lies! Of course, no response (yet?) Good one! I noticed the same thing happening on the various media outlets yesterday. As the number of Pro-Rally supporters went down the number of A/R Supporters went up. First reports told of equal amounts of attendees on each side. Then 100 or more protesters; then 500 people attend majority for A/R side; then by 11pm they'd had over 700 attendees for the A/R side. Heck if I'd known the event went on all day, I would have showed up after work, with my top down and my helmet on (Car top BEACH, Car top!) Seems WMBF has also turned into another follower of the mayors club. Their VP is promoting sports tourism like mad, and calling for state laws to be overturned to close down major highways for runners. Which as of tonight has now happened. SCDOT will be allowing local officials to close Hwy 31 for this event. In MB we HAVE NO REAL FACTUAL NEWS REPORTS and we never have. I'm sadden by this because I truly felt that WMBF would have been a great station. But it appears to me they've turned to the same old sloppy reporting of slanted stories as all of the other media in the area. I guess they're all smoke and mirrors too. It's sad no one actually cares about presenting the real stories controversial or not.
