No - actually, I've had that photo for a while because I liked how he has his landscaping out front. We're planning on putting in more palms, but on BOTH sides of the driveway, and I like how his are placed with the short types in front and tall ones behind them. Doing so - and having them placed AWAY from the house - makes for a neat and attractive appearance while still promoting good home security by keeping all home entries and exterior areas free of places where potential intruders, etc could conceal themselves or at least not be easily exposed.

Anybody going to the city clowncil meeting tomorrow? It would be interesting to see how the clowncil is going to "tweek" some of the ordinances.

Anyone know how probable cause will apply to the muffler stops? If they say I need a brain bucket, I'll carry one and throw it on if I need it. I'm more worried about getting my bike impounded and not being able to walk the 450+ miles to get what is left of my stock exhaust system (Doesn't work, but has an EPA stamp). I tested it with a non-calibrated RS meter and came out just over the limit, but if the LEOs have to apply probable cause, I should be OK. However, if they have a roadblock, I'm stewed.. Also, anyone know if the noise laws are being equally applied to trucks and cars with "illegal" exhaust noise, or are bikes only being targeted?

Just don't drive through the City if you think your bike exhaust doesn't meet the 89 db limit at idle, besides there's nothing there anyway. If your light on the throttle you should be OK, but if you want to play you're going to pay!
