Beach I am with you on this one. I thought we learned that lesson in VN that the field comanders make the call. Not from the White House. Guess history repeats itself.

That makes me stick to hear that. That is a call that should have been made by the Commander in the field. Not the President. The Commander in Chief has no experience in war or terrorism and wants to call the shots? This country is in trouble as long as he is in office screwing everything up the way he is. We needed a true leader with a mission for the United States of America and to show the world that we don't take sh*t from anyone or need anyone to exist instead of the path we're on now. This country needs to get back to it's roots and depend on it's own resources to survive, cut off all of the give aways to other country's that we don't benefit from. In this country, if you don't belong here kick their a$$es out. Also if you live here don't expect a free ride, everyone on welfare, young on SSI that's able to work put them to work doing government work and all take take drug tests. I have no problem with government health care, I have many Canadian friends and they are totally pleased with the care they get. Heath care in this country has got out of hand and is the biggest rip off in history. I believe that government should enforce laws but make new laws and other decisions by the majority of the peoples vote. No political position in the US shall be by appointment or electoral vote and be by popular vote only. Sorry, but this is only my opinion and I could go on and on. A-Men Brother

I personally think that ALL Commanders In Chief should have military background, if for no other reason just so they know how the powers at their disposal operate and understand that no body knows best how to handle some situations unless you are there and can see whats happening second by second.

Another thing to think about is that everyone is concerned about Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries in that region. They're not the real problem! We have been conquered by Communist China and people just don't see it. The exact same thing that we tried to prevent in Vietnam in that small country they went for the big kahuna, the US and they are succeeding. They have been buying up our land, banks, industry, health care and we are becoming dependent on them. In the matter of 25-40 years they will have enough power in the US to take total control and the US will become the new USSR (United States Socialist Republic), scary huh? Thats the way I see the future and with the current leadership letting our guard down it's even leaving us open to a earlier doom. You may think I'm nuts but I'm not one that lives in a fantasy land and always thinks everything is going to be OK. From playing chess I learned to always to look into the future, check my options and always have a back up plan.
