Beach Pathetic is the only thing that comes to mind. Saw the Mayor on SCNOW tonight being interviewed by Thema Ponton. He is such a sorry SOS. He actually said that if the residents don't pass the 1% tax the City is done and it will be the fault of the residents. Does he really believe the people here have that short of a memory.... Bird, The GRAY HAIRS do have a short memory, it's sad but true. After all, they voted Wayne Gray freaking citizen of the year! ROTFLMAO! However, I don't think the majority of MB residents want to relive 1976 as Toad does, he'll be gone from office and if we're lucky ALL of the hand puppets will be replaced with residents who understand this is a resort town, and it's a working man's town. I can't wait for political "vote hunting" season this year. ;D

Folks wont forget who put them out of work with his complete and utter mismanagement of this City. I feel the whole City Council and the Chamber President need to go as well. We need to cut the umbilical cord to the good ole boy system. I was amazed that GRAY was named anything but butt hole of the year. The dog comment should have brought animal rights groups out to voice concerns that he would be anything but persona non gratta.

I hope the residents of MB remember IF this 1% sales tax is passed that money goes to the Chamber of Comedy.....This is the same BRIGHT group of folks who [glow=red,2,300]Purchased BILLBOARDS for hundreds of thousands of dollars, just to use them as MILE MARKERS! [/glow] So now their marketing budget is down, and the city residents need to fill up their pockets. NEWSFLASH - The MB Chamber's marketing budget has tripled in the last few years, and the city still reported lower numbers of visitors to the area. If they can't improve tourism with a budget of $15 million, perhaps a $5 million budget will get those creative juices following again. Now, Brad Dean reports yesterday that the Chamber has hired a Sports Tourism Marketing Specialist to assist with tapping another market, OMG! is he for real? Anyone hired at the Chamber of Comedy these days, has to be related to or purchased by the good ole boy network, or they leave town in the middle of the night. The Chamber of Comedy also isn't required to disclose how they've spent OUR MONEY, but then again, apparently MBCC isn't either, because we still haven't heard where ALL OF THAT STATE MONEY went. Oh Yeah, that's right, we purchased FARM LAND from MB Farms (AKA- Burroughs & Chapin). So how many more taxes do we need? And exactly where has all of the money gone? As for Wiener Gray, my theory is he's laying low and letting the Toad hang himself. Wiener thinks he can step up in November and be the next mayor. God help us all if that happens.
