They closed up in the fall and had a BBQ. He's had that on his sign for about a year.

I hope u know, I'll be late for work in the morning, because of this post! LOL!!! I was just by there this morning, but I apparently wasn't looking in the right direction......however.... I'm doin' a drive by in the morning...... ;D

I hope u know, I'll be late for work in the morning, because of this post! LOL!!! I was just by there this morning, but I apparently wasn't looking in the right direction......however.... I'm doin' a drive by in the morning...... ;D You have to look on the North side of the sign!

One of the local TV news reports did a segment with video about this on their 5:30PM Thursday broadcast. However, I can't locate anything posted on any of the local stations' websites or I would post a link.
They referred to Ben (Ben Brown, owner of the former B&M Cycles) - and stated that when asked, he claimed the "F.U.M.B." stood for "Fired-Up Motivated Building".
I took the pictures linked above, and I’ve been telling folks that the “F.U.M.B.” stood for “Fired-Up Mad Bikers” - if it stood for what folks THOUGHT it meant (wink, wink), it would read “F.Y.M.B.”.
Plus, if the City of Myrtle Beach tries to take any official action against Ben for the sign's text - they should equally go after the MB Hooters location for THEIR name - which we ALL know merely refers to their owl mascot.
Something like Suck, Bang, and Blow's explanation for their name - it's JUST describing the sequence and action of an internal combustion engine...
