Anybody else have an issue with Rosa Lindas during the rally? 3 buds and I pulled in Wednesday at noon, with every intention of eating and listening to Ten Toes Up. We pulled in, guided by the flag guy, and parked. We were locking up when the guy comes up and wants $3 each to park. I said "you joking?", and he said no- but if I went inside, bought something, brought him the receipt, then he would give us some of the cash back.
Screw that! We left in a flash and parked next door. Ticked me off.
I don't want to start a smear campaign, but if this was common I want to let the locals know about it!

In the old Hoof-n-Finz spot, directly across the street from SBB Original.

When it was Hoof and Finz I know Curtis owned it and it was a right good place. Not sure what happened or if he has sold it. Personally in business I learned a lot from Sam Walton. I used to camp overnight in the Walmart parking lot when traveling. Saved me a bunch of money and guess where I shopped when I needed food or other commodities. I always figured if cars were in my parking lot there was an opportunity to do some Biz. Some businesses survive down here in spite of themselves.

... Some businesses survive down here in spite of themselves. Or - they survive despite their destructive municipal government...

That is even harder to do after what has happened down here. So much is closing.
