Looks like another Landmark Bites The Dust. Couldn't even make it through the Summer. How is that Selective Tourism Workin for ya MB. I am feelin like this place is gonna shut down for the Winter like you havent seen for 30 years. Both Horry County Lowes stores were sold out of Fence Post but guess which one had 60. Yup the MB Lowes. Sorry I was in a FUMB mood that day. www.thesunnews.com/2010/06/28/1559147/the-beach-wagon-country-music.html

This is part of THEIR gentrification. Their loss and the surrounding areas gain. Not A dime until rhodes is doing time. Along with all his cronies!

www.thecarolinaforestchronicle.com/v2/content.aspx?ID=25994&MemberID=1598 Property tax cuts added to sweeten Myrtle Beach’s controversial tourism tax have been eliminated, according to the latest plan to overhaul South Carolina’s tax code. When the General Assembly passed enabling legislation creating “tourism development fees,” it inserted a clause requiring property tax cuts of up to 20 percent. The S.C. Tax Realignment Commission (TRAC) has deleted that clause in its latest proposed tax changes. “I think voters expect a tourism development fee is expected to go to tourism promotion and not property tax relief,” said TRAC chairman Bernie Maybank. The TRAC proposal also reduces the qualifying threshold to impose a tourism tax to $8 million in annual tourism revenues. Right now, the threshold is $14 million, virtually exempting every S.C. municipality except Myrtle Beach. ********************************************** DO YOU THINK THEY ARE TRYING TO TELL MYRTLE BEACH SOMETHING?

I heard there was a For Sale sign in front of Five O'clock Somewhere up on 18th ave North. Can someone confirm that?
Some thoughts on Octoberfest down on Ocean Blvd tonight. - Pretty good turn out. - Everyone was grossly intoxicated. - No transportation provided. No taxi stand, no buses running, nothing. - The streets were covered in trash at the end of the night.
