This is truly remarkable. . The link below is a virtual wall of all those lost during the Viet Nam war with the names, bio's and other information on our lost comrades. It is a very interesting link, and those who served in that timeframe and lost friends or family can look them up on this site. Please pass this on to all of your fellow vets and their families First click on a state......then when it opens .........a name.......then it should show you a picture of the person or at least his bio and medals...... www.virtualwall.org/iStates.htm

Bird I passed this link onto many of my friends and I got a call from one of them who never knew the fate of a distant cousin till he saw his name and picture on the web site, he always thought he was MIA His family wasn't close at all so he never knew till now!! To this very day I haven't been able to go to the wall, I really need to. The moving wall came to Raeford NC several years ago and a friend took me to visit it, without telling me where we were going, I got within 100 feet of it before I broke down just couldn't get there. Before I die I will!! I'm sure there are others who feel the same way Thanks for posting the link.Attachments:

The Sands Hotel has one down here and Rolling Thunder is going to take the Wounded Warriors there. My old P-38 is in the entrance way. Guys now don't know what that is. I told them they were spoiled not having to try and get food out of a can armed with a P-38 and a right good appetite. I don't think they cook with C-4 anymore either. Young whippersnappers. Was neat watching everyone trade stories last night after they got in. The Wall is a force that affects each man differently yet all men the same. Once you go it has a tendency to draw you back again.

Bird - Thanks for putting this up. Helps those who aren't able to get to the Wall "see" their loved ones memorialized, if only virtually.

No problem ovation. It is a very useful site and one can also have some private time as well.

I didn't know some of the food we ate in those cans was corrosive, both blades were pretty rusty!! Attachments:
